The sense of nostalgia and the idea of BIG, BOLD, yet classy and sexy were necessary for this design. The challenge here was to develop a one-line illustration to represent Sinatra’s signature that would take you from cover to cover. As the album was opened that classic image of Sinatra becomes presented in a loud way, with the microphone literally popping off the page into the viewer’s face. Just like Sinatra’s voice to his audience.
