Cap De Creus is a painting series inspired by one of my favourite traditional painters: Salvador Dali. The series is a unique mixture of urban and traditional styles depicting flowers with bold graffiti-life highlighting, vivid colours, textures, and cliff-like surfaces. Each painting incorporates different approaches to including mixed media to create texture. This particular piece uses a crackle medium to create a unique underlying texture.
This series has been lost over the years moving between cities but continues to influence the work I do today.
